The best way to get to the airport - but why do the trains stop at 20h30, when there are still lots of flights arriving?

It is a quick, easy, pain free way to get to and from the airport if you don't have too much luggage and are in Sandton or Rosebank. Also fun to take the kids for a bullet ride.

Safe to use, easy commute. makes shopping in Sandton so easy. Much easier than battling with traffic. clean and comfortable.

Yes, you can purchase the ticket at the station. Check the gautrain website for the fares. From Rosebank to Hatfield Station it costs R55. With the exchange R10.60 to AUD1.00, we are talking AUD5.18.

I was a business traveler who only used the train for a round trip between Jburg and Pretoria. I had to buy a gold card, and yes everything is charged in one transaction. I cannot recall if I paid with cash or credit card... More
