Generally, when I have a business meeting in Pretoria, I take the Gautrain whenever possible. I had one recently and did so again, having not used it for about a year now. It was really great to see that everything is as it was -...More

I only use the Gautrain when traveling to the airport, from Sandton in Johannesburg. It is punctual, fast, convenient and safe. Due to the strict rules regarding no eating, drinking or chewing of gum, it is clean and well maintained.

We used the train a bit to go from the airport to Sandton and Rosebank. Very safe and convenient. It is a little confusing to use the tickets machines but rest assured there is also a maned ticket office where you get what you need.

Almost always on time and clean although not the cheapest form.of transport it is relatively safe. Still not covering all areas but with expansion plans will make it easier for international tourists.

Very cool, its fast, it takes you places faster on the train route, under cave experience ,although its expensive it was nice, fares were so interested.

Most people don't expect to have this clean, fast, safe transport in Africa, but Gautrain represents service with very high quality, standard, like the French TVG or German ICE. I'm very happy with their service.

Having been in South Africa in the past, this is a wonderful new addition to Gauteng's still underdeveloped public transport network. Comfortable, fast and safe.

SA's version of convenient travel - the train itself is the best version of travelling without concern - the bus service however teaches you to plan you time wisely

The Gautrain via Sandton, Rosebank is the best option. To get to the Hyatt just go right out the Station. Head up the street on the opposite side of the station. It is about 200 to 300 Meters.

I would suggest that you take the Gautrain from the Airport to Rosebank. You will have to change trains at Sandton station.... Look up route on the internet. At Rosebank, go to the Green Bus office at the Zone. Very close... More
