We did the Robberg walk with our 3 children age 4 - 8 years old and it was a wonderful experience. Especially viewing the seal colony and walking onto the Island beach on the other side. The walk is well marked and, bar a few places where you need to be careful of steep cliffs, it's pretty safe. Lot's a... More

This was one of Maryke at the 5th House B&Bs top tips for a trip out for the day, it gave great views of Plettenberg Bay on the first half of the walk. With great views of the ocean too, see Cape fear seals, Cormorants plus Dassie too.

I have been hearing about Roberg and reading some of the reviews i must say i was mesmerized by its beauty once I got to the reserve. I enjoyed my run while taking cool photos of the scenery. I did the whole Roberg, bumped into James and a few other runners. It was so cool to meet Steven and his... More

I believe that a walk through the Robberg Nature Reserve is something that you must do if you are in the area. The reserve is well-maintained and the paths are clearly marked and easy to follow. There are a few options of walks to do, varying in distance and difficulty. We did the full walk right to the point and... More

The best show in town. Do not leave without doing this. Do the longest hike it's worth every minute of it. Allow 4hours. Challenging in places. Some of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen

One of the best and most beautiful hikes in the area. You can choose between (approx) 1 hour, 2,5 hours or 3-4 hours. The hike is scenic and so diverse. You can see the seal colony from the top and may spot great white sharks circling the colony. The birdlife is wonderful and I regularly see tracks of otters and... More
