Absolutely amazing hike, with a stunning view of the coastline and ocean. So much wildlife--we saw dolphins, seals, shark, dozens of birds, and a penguin. The hike --particularly the long version--is steep, uneven, and some parts are a bit intense. Bring water/snacks. The short hike is perfect for families, and the beach is a great place for a hang out.

A hike you should go on when in this area! If you're lucky enough you might spot whales and sharks! The longer hike took us only about 3 hours.

The reserve offers some stunning coastal views and opportunity to see fur seals. If you want to make it to the lighthouse I suggest you get there in the morning to allow enough time for a gentle pace and plenty photos there and back.

A walk in this nature reserve is a must if you are in the area. The views are spectacular. Parts of the walk itself are pretty challenging in terms of being on narrow ridges and it pushed me to the edge of my comfort zone at times. Good walking shoes. Plenty of water , sunscreen and a hat are a... More

We did the middle distance circular walk which had stunning views the whole way round including a brief visit onto Die Eiland. The walk is quite strenuous in places requiring agility. Good walking boots, sunscreen, a hat and water are all necessities.

We did the 2 hour seal loop within the park. Its easy enough going, a few scrambles along rocks and plenty of stair climbing but nothing to worry about. The views are amazing. I felt like each headland we went around the views just got better. The beach between the island and the mainland is gorgeous to relax on for... More

Its a good long walk if you feel like it - with lovely views and crashing seas. A bit hairy around the back side if you are not good with heights.

Must wear trainers or walking boots, we did the full 9k walk and it was challenging if you get vertigo, you need to be agile and willing to rock climb! No injuries would be welcome! Absolutely beautiful! Lots of seals, very smelly though!

Difficult walk in places as there is scrambling and bouldering involved - but so worth it as the views and wildlife are amazing. If you don't want to boulder - you could walk to the end and return the same route, dropping down onto the sand dune on the way back.

This was our second visit to Robberg. The first had been 2014 when we ran out of time to do what we wanted. This time we saved the whole day so we could do the walking we wanted. It is a hard walk with lots of "up and down" yet at the same time it was rewarding. Superb views all... More
