We stopped by here for lunch. The place was recommended by a colleague we were travelling with, as having the best pies in the country. It was agreed by all that the pies were outstanding. The price of the food for the portions and quality is incredible. The farm stall also has a wide variety of preserves, curios and bric-a-bracs.... More

Always stop here on the way to Grahamstown. It has an amazing range of food - from biltong, dried fruit, coffee to an varied range of meat pies. A lovely experience to break the journey.

Stopped for coffee and refreshments. A very nice stop where you can find anything from something to eat, drink and presents. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

We visited Nanaga from PE on 1 July, because it was my birthday my husband felt like taking me somewhere other than PE & Uitenhage for Breakfast. We had a delicious breakfast served with warm Roosterkoek at the restaurant. The manager was hands on and very friendly, so were the waitresses. After breakfast we went to the shop opposite the... Just stopped for muffins and a cooldrink and ended up buying roosterkoek - DELICIOUS!! The cooldrink cans were a bit dirty and the lady said it was from the fan... I would then clean the fan..... But the roosterkoek was seriously out of this world. I've heard great things about their pies as well.

You have no option but to stop and buy the legendary Lamb and Mince pies, Roosterbrood, Koeksisters, Sausage Rolls and Cannon ball shaped Cornish Pasties. It is a very busy farm stall in the beautiful green countryside east of Port Elizabeth. My husband and I have been stopping off at this farm stall for many years, when they were a much smaller shop, but their soup and roosterkoek was always excellent. The shop makes divine bread, pies, roosterkoek and lots of other delicious goodies. The restaurant is excellent, service good and if you have kids, there is a playground where they... More

As a coffee lover it is always a surprise to find decent coffee on the road. Nanaga farm stall delivered one of these surprises. The artisinal coffee meet the standard, served with a smile. The rest of the stall offered up some pleasant options from the homemade biltong, ginger-beer and famous pies. I was a little take aback by the... More

We stopped there on our way to friends and were pleasantly surprised to see the amazing variety of foods, condiments, pickles, jams and chutneys on offer! Absolutely amazing. The pies (venison and lamb mint) were fresh, delicious with an amazing pie crust. Everything is made or supplied by the farmers wives in that area. Well worth a visit and I... More
