I enjoyed going to the mining museum. It has a lot of good information about the history of the town. The museum takes about 45 minutes to go through. I would recommend going to the museum before visiting other parts of the town.

This Hisotrical Museum is small but good. We went here first before going to the State Park/Douglas Mansion. This helped us to have a better understanding before going to the State Park. It provides good key information about the town and mining.

Pretty good if you like old mining equipment displays and photographs. There's something fascinating about how hard some people worked many years ago. Also something fascinating about how some people lived. Lots of information on the costs of mining to the people and environment.

Jerome is wonderful. It's a sweet, friendly little counter-culture artist haven with a view and history you won't believe. Great shopping, super food and a view that's staggering. No wonder people keep insisting on living on the side of a mountain that keeps moving. A...More
