Well worth a look with some great history of the Jerome mines and town back in the day. Spend 15-45 minutes here really and cost $2 per adult.

The views around this museum are well worth the trip! The history inside is facinating. This place at the turn of the 1900's was a billion dollar copper mining town. By the 1950's the mines ran dry & it became a ghost town. The hippies...More

For the price, it was great. Self guided, no fancy electronic gadgets, but they cover so many facets of life in Jerome. Schools, the mines, law enforcement, bordello and even a walk through mine shaft. I wish we had more time allotted.

Take some pictures of Arizona history. It just takes a little bit of time to walk and also see the sliding jail and Cuban Queen Bordello.

This was a quick stop as part of our visit to Jerome. We would love to come back and go through the whole museum. If you are into mining history of the area and have the afternoon. This would be a great place to visit.

This was so full of information on how the miners lived-the good, the bad, the lives of the women-everyone. Really got our eyes opened on what hardships they endured. Really rough living for all of them. So happy to have visited such a unique town....More

Excellent museum and the 30 minute video is very informative. Lots of interesting exhibits and you can look down one of the old shafts! Walk around the town after visiting the museum.
