I visited the Grand Canyon Skywalk in one of my visits to Las Vegas! What an spectacular view! I bought a package and the tour guide came to pick us up from our hotel and brought us to a ranch where we had a delicious meal, walked around and went on a horseback ride around Grand Canyon. Absolutely amazing views!... More

We did the Skywalk as part of our West Rim bus tour. Cameras are not permitted but they have photographers in 3-4 different spots who will take photos far better than you could. Very efficiently done, as you walk out you get to see and buy the photos you chose. The day we went it was the anniversary of the... More

Amazing view of the Grand Canyon. Not for those afraid of heights. Cannot take your own camera on the walkway but there are professional photographers to take your photo.

Spent a week at various sites around the Grand Canyon and this was the only let down. We expected to be way out over the canyon based on the description but you only go out about 20 feet from the lip and never really get the sense of depth expected. The "hustle" from the photographers was also very distracting while... More

We're sorry to hear were disappointed with your visit to Skywalk. Just for the record, Skywalk extends 70 feet out over the rim of the Grand Canyon, not 20 feet. We apologize for the "distraction" you experienced with the photographers and your feelings about not being worth the drive and cost. We do appreciate you taking the time to check... More

The structure is great and really offers a fantastic view, the staff were all nice and friendly but for me the big let down was how they make you remove everything from your pockets and leave it in lockers before going on to the skywalk. They then walk you through a metal detector to check you further. The only photos... More

While security is always a concern, there are other reasons for the restrictions on cell phones and other personal belongings on Skywalk. It's to prevent guests from dropping items onto the glass panels or worse over the railing into the Grand Canyon. We're glad to hear you enjoyed the views and found staff to be nice and friendly. Thank you... More

Awesome views. Its simply amazing once you are there. However they are not there make friends - just money.

We're glad to hear you enjoyed the views at Skywalk. In regards to your comment about making money, not friends, the Grand Canyon West staff works hard to every guest has a memorable experience. The fees charged are used to support infrastructure, improvements, the salaries of the nearly 1,000 employee and Hualapai tourism. It's important to note, unlike Grand Canyon... More

I was disappointed when we arrived at the Grand Canyon Skywalk. We rented a car to enjoy the drive out. Thinking we could walk to the edge or close to the edge of the Grand Canyon we were mistaken. We got there to find out you had to pay a minimum of $50 (US) to take a bus there and... More

We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your trip to Grand Canyon West and that you decided to turn around. The admission fee is used to maintain operations and pay for infrastructure, the wages of the nearly 1,000 employees work work at Grand Canyon West and other costs. We hope you understand and will consider a return trip. More

Visited the skywalk today over the Grand Canyon, was a bit apprehensive about walking out over the glass walkway 4000 ft above. Shirley was awesome and gave us a personal tour, which was very reassuring. Would highly recommend the attraction & Shirley.

We're glad to hear you were able to overcome your nerves to experience Skywalk. It's quite a feeling to be on clear glass panels 4,000 feet above the Grand Canyon. You probably noticed the frosted edges of the glass. For a lot of people that makes a difference when on Skywalk. Thanks for visiting. More

"Breath taking" is a great way to describe the Grand Canyon. Until you see in person, like you did, it's almost impossible to image what it's like. Thanks for visiting. More
