We went shopping (and also looking) at Jim Gray's Petrified Wood Company. The store has amazing pieces. They also have a very nice museum of personal pieces. There is things to buy in all price ranges. I also liked the koi fish.

I think they are open every day 8:00-6:00. Just remember, Arizona doesn't do daylight savings time.
