Charming place to visit.

Variety of decent restaurants to choose from with a few more in the works. Shops close early. Fun little local bar scene at night.

This town was older and yet was full of shops. We enjoyed the hippie place and thd antique shops. We enjoyed the vanilla cream soda w a sandwich

We stopped at Stronghold and the new Merkin winery shops. Stronghold has great Duck and Merkin has awesome pasta and bread (fruit and nut bread was amazing-we bought 2 loaves) and of course the wines. We then found Little Moos and went crazy on all the cool jellies, butters, chocolates. DEFINITELY a must stop!

Excellent RESTAURANTS & BARS, quirky shops and boutiques and SUPER FUN! A short walk thru Old Town, just park and explore! There's also great trails from there (Jail Trail) and a short drive to Tuzigoot Ruins and Jerome!

If you want an opportunity to shop in a quaint setting in a small town, this is a great haunt of ours. There are a number of outstanding restaurants in town, and the people are always friendly. We like to take a stroll along the Verde and check out the local sights, and top it off with a great meal.... More

A few typical tourist shops but mostly locals have opened cafes, handmade clothing and second hand boutiques. Plus there are a number of winery tastings rooms.

Very pleasant stroll, nice art galleries and shops. Several wine tastings offered at various eateries which I would have done on an adult trip. Daughter and I enjoyed a fancy marshmallow treat at a candy shop.

Great cafes, coffee shops and stores. Easy to walk to everything. The businesses are locally owned and very welcoming to locals and tourists alike. Worth a visit.

Enjoyed exploring Old Cottonwood, and visiting varied wine tasting facilities. The following night, had an equally nice light supper at The Tavern, down the street in Old Cottonwood.
