This is a little side trip from Sedona. Had a couple hours to kill and decided to drive to historic Cottonwood. Some really cute little shops. We found some really good deals in the boutique called pink rain. The owner was super nice too. Also lots of restaurants to choose for with indoor and outdoor dining.

Cottonwood is delightful! We spent more time here then in Sedona. Parking was easy, quaint shops, high customer service and really good restaurants.

Had a rainy day and touring the Verde Valley wineries. Stopped in Cottonwood for the Burning Tree that was pretty good. My vote in the Reds was The Duke. Took a stroll N Main and came across Bootleggers bar. The stop turned out to be a great decision. Husband did their craft beer tasting. Awesome lunch! I had the Meatball... More

Great Hwy 66 views. Be sure and visit the "hippie" VW van on N end of town. Lots of shops but parking is limited.

This street has a good combination of shopping and restaurants. The shops have a wide range as well -- boutiques to yard art. Also has plenty of wine tastings. Something for everyone. This is one of our stops on the way to Sedona.

Visiting the historic old town is like traveling back in time with the goods of the 21st century! You'll find a charming cafes with very friendly people, antiques stores, a charming bookstore with an amazing selection of UFOS books, wine tastings, a tea house and much more! I highly recommend it!!!

We came to visit family and had a great time in the shops and restaurants. Did a little beer tasting, went to blazing M ranch and hiked nearby trails - everyone was super nice and helpful. This is a great town to stop in and enjoy!

If you do not have to go too far to get to Cottonwood, it is a nice day trip before the temperatures get higher. A quaint little town with a block or so of interesting stores.
