The Little Colorado Gorge is breathtaking. I recommend, good shoes, a bottle of water and time to sit and listen to nature. When last there, we had the pleasure of watching ravens swoop and soar above and in the canyon. Hearing the wing beat of a raven is truly a blessing.

If you are traveling Highway 64 to the Grand Canyon you will find this stop on your right some nine miles past Cameron. It provides a great way to view the Little Colorado River. It is a place for the locals to sell stuff . There are a number of places along the road where you can get similar views.

The first overlook stop on 64 headed to the east entrance of the Grand Canyon is a highlight of our trip. We stopped for lunch here and was not disappointed. Excellent spot for photos! Shaded picnic tables with ridiculous views! Several restrooms, navajo crafts, and some info about native americans are also here. There is a voluntary donation to the... More

Navajo run stop on the road to the Eastern entrance of the Grand Canyon. Very friendly people. Lovely views. Nice small jewelry and other native made gifts. We brought a pottery bear. We saw a similar one in Sedona for three times the price we paid here. Worth a visit if you are going past.

This place is worth a stop. I am a boy from southern Louisiana. For the entirety of my life I have resided below or slightly above sea level. The deepest canyon I see on a regular basis is the 17th Street Canal and it's not very impressive. On my way to visit The Grand Canyon, I saw many things I... More

Stopped here by happy accident. Was en route to the Cameron Trading Post and saw the sign. It is a dirt driveway. When you get there, be prepared to hike a bit to the view but it is well worth it. There are no rangers or guides to ask questions so just go and enjoy the view.

We stopped here on the way to the East Entrance of the Grand Canyon. You pull in and there is a Native American and you just pay what you want to enter and park and look at the view. We gave her $10. We spent about 15 mins here, The rocks, the canyons, the water below, the little Colorado River,... More
