No, it is not as WOW as the Grand Canyon. However, I feel like there are more things to discover in these smaller areas. I love the view, it truly is beautiful. I would highly recommend checking the scene here.

There are nice viewing spots along Highway 89 with views of this gorge. The viewing areas come quick at the highway speeds so pay attention to the signs. There are Native American booths set up at each.

Nice place for a quick stop to view the little Colorado River Canyon. Be careful with children the railings are a little on the weak side.

We stopped by on the way to the big canyon . We enjoyed it because it was small and you could appreciate the views better -small is beautiful. The safety rail was so scant it would not be allowed in the UK. Keep hold of...More

We were driving on the highway to Sedona from Grand Canyon and the view was really nice from the highway so we stopped to come in. It was definitely worth it.

At one end there is a rest area with restrooms. At the other end there are local souvenir stands. In between there is a pedestrian bridge over the Colorado river. Great place to take pictures and stretch you legs.

This is a beautiful Canyon gorge to explore and/or view. It is on the road going into the Grand Canyon from Cameron, Arizona.

Great add-on to a Grand Canyon visit. It's just off Hwy. 64, much closer to Hwy. 89 than the National Park East Entrance. It's off the north side of Hwy. 64 (you can see the gorge paralleling much of it), with a sign for Scenic...More
