Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

if you can stay in a nice hotel then you will experience more about Dibba. Fujairah beach is empty. Not much to see but the beach is nice. Find a correct hotel then you will experience more. I suggest Rotana Hotel.
Then you travel to Ras Al Khaimah or Khatt, during your trip will be entertain by the rocky mountain like the Alps (without the snow,of course). It's beautiful

Dibba is not unlike many of the other UAE cities that aren't the major players in tourism (Dubai, Abu Dhabi, etc), but I find that as part of the appeal. For example, you can work a better deal for yourself at the street vendor shops and get that more of a "real" feeling of smaller city. Anyway, its a nice place to spend a day out of the big city while seeing the Eastern Region/Shoreline.

Dibba, still very traditional, is a welcomed respite from DO-BUY! It is a great place for outdoor activity lovers - biking, camping, water sports on the Indian Ocean. A great, best-kept UAE secret!

I went to the Sandy Beach Hotel on a day pass so that I could see Snoopy Island. It was great fun. The snorkeling was really special. It was my first try, and I am older with some physical limitations. The hotel supplied everything, including a rather becoming lifeguard to accompany me.
The beach was huge and clean, and the view outstanding. I'd read about boatloads of tourists coming in, but in fact it was not at all crowded. Prices for the day pass, snorkeling, and drinks were most reasonable.

Visited the Fujairah International Monodrama Festival that is the most prestigious event in the area, concerning the arts.
It usually takes places in the second half of January and has some 20 shows of monodrama from all over the world!

Visited the fort and enjoyed wandering around it and inside it, unfortunately no one was there to tell us anything about it and the information brochure stand was empty. I would of liked to have learned more about it but was not able to do so. I would recommend it but wanted to have more information about the fort.

The boat trip was enjoyable.
Proper documentation is required for entry from UAE. Because of some documentation, we spent more than an hour at check point.

Hello Chamax6 i do not think you can stay overnight with BBQ as it is an historical place with a museum...I do not think there are places where you can have BBQ and stay on the beach as you are on a muslim country. I was staying at Rotana Fujairah Resort and the beach, which was several kms long, it was not allowed to have BBQ and stay on the beach. Good luck! Chantal
