Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

DATE 2023 This is one of the finest small museums I have visited. It is not to be confused with some of the photos of mosques or the Heritage Village that are posted with it. It is red stone with 2 cannons in front. The museum is comprehensive and compact without being crowded. Each room is displayed and decorated in a theme to show the range of Arab culture over time. Some rooms are lined with sticks and others draped with fabric. There are the usual tools and clothing. There is also a reconstructed burial site and a boat. There are no museum brochures or maps or gift shop. However, there is a nice assortment of Fujairah materials near the entry. Absolutely worth your time!

We visited on the way to our Fujairah staycation. It was nice to see the museum but there was not much to it. We were in and out in 20 minutes.

It is right next to the Fort which is worth the visit so you may as well do both!

Staff were very friendly and entry was only 5ds per person.

Although advertised as open on Fridays afternoon, the Museum and the Fort were closed when we went today. We were told Museum and Fort are closed Fridays and Saturdays because of Covid. It would be helpful that such information be highlighted on the Museum website or the Fujairah Ministy of Tourism! Very disappointed.

It was interesting to follow the ancestral history, heritage, and cultures of the UAE. We were allowed to take photos inside the building. There was a low entrance fee (I think it was about $2 USD) that must be paid in UAE dirhams.

I'm not an avid museum person, I prefer to just visit the sites but there are a lot of interesting artifacts in here that give you a good insight into the history. The inside of the building itself is quite different and impressive.

I have visited the Fujairah museum a number of times. Each time, I learn more and more of the history of this area. There are plenty of exhibits which allow the visitors to create a good mental picture of life in the past days.
