We did not go on an actual vist as they were the view we had from our Hotel. Hard to believe the have been there since the time before Christ, stunning view as sun set.

The tombs are absolutely amazing, dating back to the 8th century. We were able to walk along the river and took pictures from the other side. We then took a boat trip to Germany able to get nearer. A total must see if in Dalyan

Seen from the boat, the rock tombs are captivating. Indeed many of the tourist boats stop here to provide photo opportunities and for visitors to pose in front of the unusual and dramatic scenery.

I have tried for many years to take a good photograph of the tombs but found it difficult from the Dalyan side. I opted to take the rowing boat ferry across to the other side. A bargain at TL5 return. Ferry runs every few minutes...More

We were in a tour trip to dalyan from Fethiye so we stopped by kaunos where these tombs are. Very impressing and very interesting history.

There are two ways to see them Gabriel. Either from land on the Dalyan side as you can not get to them by foot or hire one of the small boats to hey you a little closer, they will stop for photo opportunities. it will cost... More

Not sure if the new tourist site is open yet. You can view from Dalyan or from the riverside. Buggy would probably be a no im afraid. Check out on google. Dalyan and Lycian Rock Tombs.

Yes, you can visit all year round. We went at the end of February last year.
