Iztuzu Beach is very beautiful. You can drive there, get a bus there, or (my favourite way) take the public boat down the river to it. This takes about half an hour and is always a treat. There are sunbeds which cost a few lire and a snack shack selling hot drinks, ice cold beer and home made turkish pancakes... More

Took a day trip excursion here. A long boat journey (almost 50 mins from Dalayan centre) was well worth it. Beach is the second longest in Turkey overs amazing views. Totally secluded with only a small cafe and changing rooms, the trip wouldn't be complete without seeing the turtles! I'd advise using crab to attract them which can be bought... More

Iztuzu beach is a must visit. The 5km long sandy beach is ideal for children as it stays shallow for a long time. A short drive or boat ride from the centre of Dalyan. Try to visit both ends of the beach or walk from one end to the other.

Overly touristy and seemingly litter and pollution are becoming an issue which is a shame as otherwise its a beautiful area

A 20 minute boat ride from Dalyan, (an inland holiday resort) delivers you through the reeds, past the mountain tombs to Iztuzu Beach. Whilst being a beach for tourists, it is also a protected area for turtles. I have been to this beach twice whilst holidaying in Turkey, just for the experience of travelling by boat through the reeds to... More

What a beautiful beach with stunning scenery you can get here either by boat or bus. You can go by the bus and walk to the other end and return by boat or vice versa.

Turtle beach is like no other beach I've visited. Arriving via the 30 minutes water taxis from dalyan. No roads leading to the beach it is a spit of sand with river one side and beautiful warm sea other. Along the beach are placed wire cages to protect the number of turtle eggs that have been laid along the beach.... More

We have been to Iztuzu beach for over 15 years, unfortunately this time as we had our usual walk along the beach instead of watching the crabs rush back into their homes and collecting shells, we encountered faeces, continued walking and encountered more and yet more. We were extremely upset as we have never had this here before. We left... More
