Nice but I don't know why it has not made WOW effect on me. Brasov and Sybiu were more interesting and no so empty during night. Restaurants and attractions I wouldn't call as a first class. It's just good to come here for two days.

Not gonna focus on the center itself, plenty of accurate reviews. You can go from Brasov to Sighisoara by bus, its dirty cheap. It takes less than two hours, clean and reliable service. Buses leaves next to Brasov train station (tickets can not be bought...More

Well worth the visit and better to stay a few nights and use it as a base. Stay inside the citadel for a true Middle Ages experience as they have great restaurants and b&b accommodations as well as hotels. Climb the Clock tower!

Gorgeous architecture. You will spend about two hours here. There's ample restaurants here and cafes as well. You can do walking tours to update you on what you're seeing. Its very very worthwhile seeing if youre travelling through Romania. Parking can be difficult close by...More

Everything I hoped for and more. A selection of authentic old era hotels to choose from an endless selection of restaurants too happy to make sure you ha e everything you desire. Friendliness like never experienced before.

...except it's not really about the guy with fangs. We found many of the locals don't really want to be associated with the connection between vlad dracul (the impaler) and the fictitious character. The city itself it lovely. Lots of people but lots to see....More

Spent a couple of nights in Sighisoara but you can easily cover the old town less than a day. Despite all the tourists the town appears to absorb them all without too much trouble. Everything you see is worth a photo but pictures don't do...More

While it's not one of the wonders of the world, the city center is beautiful and worth a day visit or weekend when the festival is held. The city center is well preserved and there is an unofficial competition between the inhabitants on who takes...More

We were limited by age to how much climbing we did, but what we did told us how impressive this place is...we climbed the watch tower and saw the various parts of the mechanism...although we had to pay to enter, we also had to pay...More

Gives you a taste of local medieval times. It is an old city packed with old houses and tourist attraction. A must see if you are in Sigisoara
