We were ready to leave town but after a short discussion with our guide, our guide called and Teo opened up his shop for us at 8:00 amand we are so glad he did. He is an award winning brandy maker. He gave us samples of different flavors and explained his process. it was a highlight of our trip.

We went to Teo's Cellar last minute and I'm so glad we did. He was extremely down to earth and incredibly generous with his time! He was more than happy to answer any questions about the tasting and his family history. The rooms on site are amazing, extremely well presented and obviously attention to detail is important to his family.... More

Wow. If it was possible to give zero on Tripadvisor, then we would give it to this place. We are in Sighisoara for 4 days. It is still winter and it is still quiet - nevertheless, mostly charming. On Saturday we saw a sign for Teo's Cellar with artisan products etc. It was about 1.30 pm and we went for... More

Although I am not a big fan of alcohol, I still got to taste all kinds of brandy there, from the ones with 50% alcoholic content, to the mixed plums one, which I loved the most as it's sweet, rich and easy to drink. My friend loved all of it. Teo was so nice and gave us one bottle as... More

In order for this review to have its proper value, I have to share the following three facts: 1. Plum Brandy aka Tuica aka Palinca is one of Romania and Transylvania's national treasures and pride, a direct link to an ancestral lore of alcohol and food crafting. 2. Making the brandy is a family tradition, the stills beings passed down... More

We opted to visit for a tasting session and as a result bought quite a bit of the produce. A small scale venue. Worth a visit

LOcated in the Tourist zone of the city, it seams to be a turist attraction. We have tested two types of liqueur/fruit brandy (Tuica) but found them very common and with "industrial taste"/ The prices are much higher than in the normal shops, so we have expected something of high quality. We have been dissappointed! It seams to be a... More

The place is really ease to find, it has excellent location, not being hidden on some lateral streets. The host was very sociable and had a lovely attitude towards us :)
