We did a day hike and wouldn't recommend it as it wasn't great value for the quality of the walk. At the beginning of the walk we were very quickly joined by friends of the guide. They chatted to us along the way and helped when it was slippery. We thought they were very kind and were planning to tip... More

We had a 2D trekking at Sapa and one night home stay with sapa sisters. Zo, who was our trekking guide, knows her way very well and explained to us about the culture of the local people in Sapa. Her English is quite fluent. What really made us feel that we were immersed in the local people life was the... More

For our first visit to Vietnam we decided to try to get away from the hustle and noise of Hanoi and up to the mountains. Chinh was our guide for a 3-day, 2-night trek and was fantastic. We learned a great deal about the Hmong and other tribes in the area. We were a bit hesitant about the home stay... More

My friend and I booked a three day trek with Sapa Sisters. All of the communication leading up to our trek was quick and helpful. When we arrived in Sapa, the weather was not good (the mountains and valleys were completely fogged in for the entire time we were there and there was on and off rain). This is obviously... More

My partner and I deliberately sought out the Sapa Sisters for our trek because we understood that the organization directly benefits the communities by hiring local women as guides who trek the tourists through the villages where they can buy all manner of handmade items from the farm families, thereby improving the livelihoods of the largely subsistence H'mong farmers. What... More

Our guide Zee (spelled Zi) lead us through the rice terraces with agility, patience, and a constant smile. An absolutely incredible hiking experience, and one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. Our homestay was clean, had working western-style facilities, and the hosts were not only great cooks, but so welcoming and friendly! Overall a 5 star experience. If... More

This was the highlight of our trip to Vietnam, hands down. We went on a two day trek with Pang for our guide. We hiked through her 'backyard' which is a magical place. She stayed with us the entire time and we even met more travelers with their guides at the home stay. We stopped for lunch which was delicious... More

We booked a 2 day 1 night tracking with Sapa Sisters, Chinh was our guide. The company was really helpful, responding to our questions prior the arriving in a short time. Chinh was friendly, told us a lot about Sapa and the people living in the area. The homestay was good, the food was delicious and more than enough. We choosed... More

Our guide was excellent. A genuine member of the local H'Mung community who guided us our way and at our level of comfort. Our lunch could have been more "local" but everything else couldn't be flawed. Perhaps a little pricey but you walk away satisfied enough to forget the modest cost imposition. Do it.
