Great place to walk the dog (some stretches of metal boardwalk with a rough surface. Some bear and moose risk, but great views of the river, some berry picking (lots of cranberries this fall). About a 3 mile loop is available.

Just be patient for a site to open up if you are in the overflow area. Sires open up. Road is very rough

We needed a place to camp. This place is okay. Pit toilets, sites are not very private, you can see everyone around you. Fortunately, it was empty when we were there. Near a river and near town which was a plus.

Centennial Park sits on the Kenai River in Saldotna, AK. It is a beautiful setting with campgrounds, day use, fishing access and boat launch ramp.
