This is hands down the rowdiest tour in Alaska! Rugged Woodsmen compete in 16 events that are part of the rich logging history of Ketchikan, Alaska. The competition is located in the historical downtown just one block of the the cruise ship dock. This competition features current lumberjack athletes who are recognized in the professional sport and travel the world. Thrilling events such as log rolling, chopping, sawing, axe throwing combined with local stories give our guests a glimpse into the wild world of the Alaskan Lumberjack. Fun for all ages and groups of any size. 500 covered, heated and cushioned seats with concessions a authentic Alaskan gift shop gift. Don't miss the axe-tion!

Lots of talent and entertaining show. It was obvious it was scripted, but the talent was not. I would not miss fishing for this show, but something good to pass some time.

The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show was my families favorite experience on our cruise. They put on a great act and showed some real skills. Highly recommend that you spend some time here!

The lumberjacks that perform and host the Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show are entertaining craftsmen that gave an engaging performance. We have been to lumberjack shows in Wisconsin, and expected to see a more than average lumberjack show in Alaska. This one was pretty average because they didn't make it very challenging. It was just a bunch of guys trying to sell you their calendar,...More

Thoroughly entertaining. Bad jokes and puns but super-fun atmosphere. Plus, it is not every day I get to see these types of activities. Loved it.

We bought this as part of a cruise tour package. I would not do that again. The show is easily accessible just off the boat and you can buy tickets at the door. No need to make it part of a tour. The show was...More

There are typically at least 2 shows per day/very busy when cruise ships are in town though, but worth your time.
