The crew (Mike) was super and Captain Jeff is the best - he knows quite a bit about Ketchikan! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour to see eagles, totems and the lighthouse. We even saw a few seals and sea lions poke their heads above the...More

This was a great excursion. Saw tons of eagles and seals. Even saw a couple of hump back whales. One whale came right up to the boat. Crew was very nice and it was very informative.

What a great experience! Captain Rob played his part superbly. We stood at the front of the boat for the most part, and were able to see all kinds of wildlife. While the tour is a little cheesy at times, we knew that going in,...More

The tour company does a commendable job right from the cruise boat maintenance (look and feel, facilities and comfort on board), crew (Anthony and Marcus) and captain (Capt. Jeff), hospitality and the tour itself. Because I was too soaked in taking photos as I approached...More

The skipper and mate of the boat were locals and very knowledgeable about the area and wildlife. Very nice and accompanying. We saw eagles everywhere, the totems were awesome but would like to have gotten a closer look. The lighthouses in Alaska are so very...More

This excursion delivered everything it promised: a lighthouse, totems, and eagles! On top of that, Captain Rob was hilarious and made the trip all the better. If you don't get the humor, it's not Rob, it's you.

We enjoyed our time with Captain Rob (who reminds me of Capt. Obvious in the hotels.com commercials) and his crew. We spotted many eagles and sea lions, saw the lighthouse, and viewed the totems. As a true native (many of the bus drivers working the...More

This excursion was really nice, even though it was a very rainy day. We saw lots of eagles. The only bad thing is that because the water was choppy, we didn't get close to the lighthouse, but it was out of the captain's hands. The...More

I will be traveling with my parents that are both in their 70's. Is there adequate seating on the boat outside where they can also see?

I am thinking about this trip next July and have concerns about getting seasick. I really only get seasick in big swells. Was this a problem for anyone o the boat? Does the boat keep moving or do they cut the engine and drift or drop anchor?

I am extremely prone to seasickness on smallish boats. Never had a problem on this tour. The boat stays close to shore for half the trip and is near islands or cove-like areas the other half. We were not there on a windy... More
