Nice local museum that goes into the local economy and life. Many of the things will be familiar from a grandmother's house or vintage shop, but everything is grouped by theme like commercial fishing, household, etc. We were on a cruise, so had very limited time, but this was worth the hour!

This is a really neat little museum that goes into some of the early culture of the Indians who inhabited the area and the fishing industry in the area

Interesting museum with many various displays including the history of fishing and logging. Really liked the old rocking chair with detailed carvings and the life-size bear sculpture containing the actual bear's skull. Well worth the $5 admission for seniors.

Really enjoyed our visit. Just a few rooms but so much local history. Lady at the desk asked if we intended to visit the Heritage Museum as well. We told her we were and she suggested a combination pass that includes both museums, so she saved a couple bucks. Well worth a visit!

Came to Ketchikan on a cruise and stopped at the museum to take in some history. The displays are lovely and we learned quite a bit. The breathtaking views of the salmon ladder though.... worth the price of admission alone!
