A great experience to snorkel in Alaska. Any fears of being cold in the water were not founded by the 7mm wetsuit, hood cloves and boots that kept me warm while in the swimming. The under water experience was like something from the film "Avatar"...More

We snorkeled in Ketchikan just this last Thursday, May 18. The visibility was incredible and the sea life stunning. Everyone in our family thought we were crazy to do this, but they were also a bit jealous. Snorkeling in Alaska can be a bit challenging,...More

Yes it is a little cold but absolutely worth the trip. Everyone was so attentive and helpful. Tons of star fish, sea cucumbers and benign jelly fish. Would do it again!

It was a great experience! We were one of the first of the season in early May, but the wet suits kept us warm. We were guided by David, Kurt and Jillian. They were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We saw lots of sea stars, jelly...More

I know, you're thinking 'snorkel in Alaska' what, what??? But as unbelievable, and maybe as unthinkable as it may sound jumping into the ocean in ALASKA - this was THE MOST INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE OF A LIFETIME. The staff was a group of off-the-chart smarties (Marine...More

Staff were incredible, and helpful. Getting the suit on was a challenge, but once on and in the water, an incredible experience, and NOT Cold. The suit very well equipped to deal with that. I did not expect to see so many different coloured sea...More

Highly recommended. The staff, equipment, training and guidance with this outfit is top notch. Getting into the water in Alaska was not on my initial list, but we had a marvelous time. The conditions we encountered were not ideal, but it really didn't matter -...More

This was a nicely organised tour and it was a lot of fun to gear up in the wet suit and actually get out in the water of Alaska. The people were friendly and helpful and informative. We saw so many underwater creatures: colorful sea...More

How deep does the water get? Or are you able to stand?

Answer
Response from Fred D | Property representative |
You can stand in some places but not all. Depends on the tide. We do make stops frequently where people can stand but there are also areas that are deeper. The wetsuits make you float like a cork so really nothing to... More

I was wondering how far away you guys are from where the cruise ships dock? We are coming in on a Holland America cruise on May 11th and wanted to book a tour directly instead of with our cruise ship. Do you have any recommendations for the best tour time for cruisers? Thanks!

Answer
Response from Fred D | Property representative |
We pick up at the cruise ship docks. You can book on my website snorkel Alaska. Time is based on your time in port. Email directly is best.
