Great views and then there are trails to hike around on after you get off the tram. There is also a large gift shop, restrooms, coffee shop.

Highly recommend if in Juneau. I paid 33 USD for a ticket. The ride to the top is just a few minutes and the views are spectacular. Take a hike up top..you have a lot of options. You can even take a trail back down to downtown Juneau. Took a cruise ship in. The walk to the tram took me... More

They like to cram passengers in like sardines onto the tramway. So the view can be obscured by peoples heads etc. Difficult to get good camera shots on the tram. However, there is a good viewing platform at the top and the scenery is quite spectacular. The video presentation was very interesting. We were a bit pushed for time so... More

The boats give you a free ticket to ride the tram so we took advantage of it. It was a gray and rainy day in Juneau but we went anyway. The ride up was a little bumpy but not bad. At the top there is something for everyone. You could hike a trail, shop in the gift shop ( of... More

The tram ride was a great way to view the beauty that is Juneau. Thoroughly enjoyed the ride and the walk at the top. Employees encountered at the tram were friendly and professional.

Nice view but a bit overpriced for the tram. Enjoyed a hike and some snow. Friendly staff and a eagle rehabilitation station.

Be sure to pick a relatively clear day to make the trip! Visibility is practically unlimited over the water areas and the town of Juneau. The restaurant serves very pleasant fare. If you're on a cruise boat (we were not) be sure to leave enough time to get back down the mountain. There is a walking trail at the top... More

Hiked up from historic Perseverance Trail on a well marked trail. Continued on to Gold Ridge and great views of Juneau, Douglas, and the Gastineau Channel. Bring your hiking boots, and prepare for some awesome views. Spend $10 on good at the restaurant or gift shop and take the Tram down into town. Totally worth the $10 for the ride... More

Went on the cable car to the top of Mt. Roberts to see the Raptor display and the view of Juneau. The view was very nice but the Raptor attraction was closed - very disappointing. Were able to take a walk on one of the well worn trails behind the gift shop. Advertising makes you think you will see 'wildlife'... More

The location is right in the middle of town, it is reasonable and the purchase price entitled you to ride all day, the staff was friendly, clean and the resturant was outstanding.
