Daily cruises to the pristine wilderness of Tracy Arm Fjord. View mountains and rock walls that are over a mile high, tumbling waterfalls, and icebergs. Two active tidewater glaciers lie at the end of Tracy Arm Fjord. Wildlife may be spotted on this cruise, though it is not the main attraction of the trip. Our skilled captains ensure the best possible viewing of the sights for our guests.

We flew to Juneau on July 4th weekend just to do this trip and it was well worth it. We apparently were overbooked by the computer so the captain did not have us on the reservation log however I had the confirmation on my phone. The captain then asked if we wanted to sit in bridge and I thought he... More

This was one of our favorite excursions in the 2-1/2 weeks we spent in Alaska. It is an all day excursion but the boat is comfortable and because of the relatively small boat, comfortable seating, and limited people you have an opportunity to get to know people. We met a pair of families vacationing together in Juneau. Captain and the... More

We saw both the south Seward glacier and the Seward glacier. We also saw whales, bears and mountain goats along the way. It's a long trip but very enjoyable. We saw several of the glaciers calving.

We took a side trip from our cruise. The tour boat was very professional and provided a box lunch. The crew was great. Most great was the spectacular glaciers. We had particularly good weather and the captain took us quite close to the amazing blue ice. We saw seals and whales and dolphins on the way back performing for our... More

My husband and I and our adult son did this boat trip today - it was terrific. We had spectacular views of both ends of the Sawyer Glacier, pulled over towards a bear on the mountainside inside Tracy Arm and also spent time getting close to a couple of pods of whates on the return trip. It was amazing to... More

This was a trip we took 20 years ago - on the same boat and with the same captain! This time we were on a cruise with Royal Caribbean that docked in town long enough to give us a sense of safety in taking a non-cruise-line excursion - and we were rewarded with the same fantastic experience as before! I... More

Beautiful trip! We have taken a few glacier viewing trips and this was by far the more st impressive. The boat was a good size for this type of trip. The scenery was absolutely stunning and we were able to travel further and closer to the glacier than any other boats we saw. This was most likely do to the... More

Whale pods spouted. One pod dove under our boat. Fantastically shaped icebergs floated by, one capped by a bald eagle eating his breakfast. The expert crew of two pilots was able to navigate the bow within a few feet of a massive waterfall. The 60 foot craft, "Captain Cook" was nimble enough to get as close as safely possible to... Going on the Captain Cook boat is one of the most impressive experiences I have ever had. Watching a glacier is totally amazing, but the whole thing is great. We also saw a bear and a lot of whales on our way. The ship is small and the seats are good enough for the day. The crew was helpful and... More

This boat was full of attentive staff, a diverse mix of visitors, and not overcrowded. Our trip out in mid July was the perfect introduction to Alaska. We saw bears and cubs, humpbacks and orcas (which got super close!) along the way to and from the Fjord, passed large iceburgs and got to witness a calving event at Sawyer when... More
