While following his passion. Mr. Lowell is on some original homestead land. So, you have God's landscape to view on the drive to there. While once arriving you taste with your eyes and senses the God given talent on canvas by Norman Lowell. I don't believe you'll be disappointed, whether it's experiencing one or all of the views both God... More

It's amazing to witness the life work of a local artist and to be able to meet and ask questions. This is a little gem in between Homer and Anchor Point that was completed unexpected. Love the art and the artist.

If you aren't looking for Norman's gallery it it easy to miss. Between Homer and Anchor Point you will see a string of banners near the road just as you cross a mall bridge over the Anchor River. When you walk in you will forget you are in remote Anchor Point, but feel you have entered a big city gallery.... More

Incredible paintings on display here. You could spend 10 minutes or 2 hours. Be sure to walk up to the His Original Homestead. It's a short walk up the path. Norman and his wife are usually there.

My family visited Mr. Lowell's gallery this spring. He is a truly gifted artist and a very interesting person to visit with. We bought one of his works and will be looking to get others. The gallery has many beautiful works on display and for sale.

Be sure to enjoy the Norman Lowell Gallery while near Anchor Point (at mile 160.9), an absolute gem!! We passed the gallery flags almost every day on several visits to AK, but stopped this year because I "made" my family go. They were as happy as I was to see Mr. Lowell's AMAZING work of 50 years and as pleasantly... More

We took a drive to the gallery and truly enjoyed admiring the works of Norman Lowell. He is a very gifted artist and a wonderful talent. Unfortunately his eyesight is fading and causing difficulty for his painting. We were very fortunate to meet him while we were enjoying his works. He was quite engaging and personable. We also got to... More

This studio is filled with a lifetime of Norman Lowell's talent. Norman honored us by allowing me to take his photo. There is a collection of Baleen baskets, carved ram's horns, even a Mastodon tusk. We toured the old homestead. Sad that Norman has lost his vision.

Mr. Lowell and his wife have built a beautiful gallery that showcases his work over the many years he has been painting. The gallery is large, comfortable and presents a variety of art pieces that Mr. Lowell has collected in addition to his own work. The gallery is is the best art spot on the Kenai Penisula and should not... More
