There's not much to Homer (proper), but if you don't pay attention, you may miss an excellent craft beer and the best oysters you ever tasted. Lake Shore Drive is pretty much a neighborhood street. The day we visited we were fortunate to have the...More

Microbreweries have established in every town in Alaska. Homer is no exception. This is a great local small scale micro brewery with a lot of charm and flavor. There is an outdoor beer garden to sit and sip and to take in the sunshine. Definitely...More

We enjoyed our visit to Homer Brewing Company. Cool tasting room with friendly staff. Beers were ok. A couple of really nice ones but the brewery is missing some of the happier beers that we enjoy drinking.

This was one of my favorite breweries we visited in Alaska! The stout I had was great! They put it in a cute little glass container to take outside. We enjoyed the beers, the outdoors, and some fresh oysters from the food truck.

This really is a local hang out which makes it very appealing to people trying to avoid the industrial tourism scene. The beer is great, but the oysters were amazing! What a unique combo!

Interesting place beers were just ok, kinda bland but staff was very friendly. Off the beaten path just before going out on the spit.

Busy brewpub, popular with locals. We visited mid-week and we had to wait for a place to sit. Good selection of beers, from highly hopped to nice malty selections. The staff kept up with the demand quite well. There is an oyster shop set up...More
