Unless you drink beer, be prepared for hefty drinking! The bartender doesn't waste any time on silly mixes! Awesome atmosphere and good pool table

Very unusual place as only building that was not destroyed during the earthquake that occurred in Alaska several years ago. A must see photo opp.

Stop in and get a souvenir from the souvenir shop. They allow children with parents in the bar if you want a beer. This places doesn't accept anything but cash. Cash machine provided if you need. No free parking. It is super busy and traffic...More

Historic location on the spit in Homer. Fun atmosphere, very 'Alaskan' with thousands of dollar bills pinned to the ceiling and walls and practically every surface. Bartenders were great, made excellent mixed drinks. Stop here!

We stopped in last week after a couple days of fishing and had fun. Enjoyed talking to Erica and hearing the stories and history of the Salty Dawg Saloon! Truly enjoyed the uniqueness of it. Thank you Erica!!

I don't know about kids. Didn't see any when we were there. No food. It is definitely a dive bar.
