While planning our Alaskan Adventure we stumbled upon a brochure for Alyeska. We are very glad we took the time to travel the beautiful Seward highway and stop at Alyeska. There is a lot to see and do here. The resort hotel is beautiful and...More

Beautiful views and a great lunch! We wanted to see the view from the top and it did not disappoint. We bought a ticket that included a credit for lunch. Great deal! Spent a few hours and then returned. Ticket is good for all day.

I'm not a huge fan of aerial tram but this one was the smoothest I've ever been on. Great views but I went at a time that it was raining so it blocked me from getting the best pics. Not much up top besides the...More

The Tram is so much fun! My husband and I stayed at Alyeska for our honeymoon and our package included daily tickets for the tram, we would use them everyday just to soak in the view of the Turnagain arm and mountains!

More of a joy ride for hikers and climbers. But very convenient for the seniors and visitors short of time . It takes you up the Alyeska and what a splendour to behold - glacial sights and heights sweep you by their magnificence .

The tram was nice, cafeteria style restaurant we did, but it was overcast so the view was not nice. Had it been sunny, would have been wonderful for hikes and pictures.

Beautiful view. Free with reservations at the Seven Glaciers Restaurant. Runs every 15-20 minutes. You can climb higher up the mountain at the top if you wish or hike up the entire mountain and ride the tram down for free.

Right outside the Alyeska Resort is the big tram that takes one up the mountain. It was pouring rain and the clouds were very low so one could not see much. Normally one can see numerous glaciers and the salt water but not this day....More

Also if you hike to the top via the North Face Trail, you get a free ride down. It's a bit of a strenuous hike - 2.2 miles and lots of switchbacks.
