Great to see successful local businesses (oh and delicious beer, too!)

Great to go along to the brewery and see a local business succeeding. I headed along to one of the tours and happened to be the only one there – however they still did the tour for me which was really awesome and shows how much they value their customers. I got to sample their staple ale and lager as... More

We stopped at Matutu Brewery for the noon brewery tour. We were so happy with our discovery! The building itself is set back from the main road. At first look, the building looks like it's abandoned. However we peeked inside to find two Kiwis brewing away. We got a personal tour and tasting of the finest suds on the island.... More

A grand drop is the Matutu beer range only available on Rarotonga and Aitutaki. Eric and the boys do a magnificent job in putting together a beautiful tasting beer to relax with when watching those lovely sunsets. Do the tour for $10 and get three beer samples and an informative and passionate explanation of what goes on, where the source... More

The experience is not so much of a tour as it is a relaxed sit down and tasting as their brewery is so small. We had an awesome time with our brewer who spoke so well and was so informative with his knowledge. This is real craft beer!! It was very interesting and we all learnt a lot. Just 6... More

This is a tiny local brewery. No fancy bottling machines (which have never been running when I've been on tours at large breweries). Labels are placed on the bottles by hand. The talk is informative and the beer tastings are great.

This is a must if you're staying in Raratonga. It's only a small craft brewery but my husband says the beer is great - I'm not a beer drinker. They have two tours and tastings a day - we were picked up from our accommodation and taken to the brewery for the tour - total cost $30 for pickup/return and... More

It was raining and a fellow traveler suggested we visit. So we called up the brewery and the owner picked us up at the resort and we went to the brewery. It is small but fun and they make good beer. They sold good, fun T-shirts so our T-shirt purchase for the trip were taken care of. We sampled all... More

We came here to check out the local craft beer and was so impressed seed with the flavors and story behind how they brew. Also all the information around local craft vs. main stream. Well worth the visit and the flavors make for a really refreshing taste on a hot day. Thanks team - we will be back!
