Moorea is the most beautiful place I've ever been. Its like Kauai on steroids -just stunning and the best place to view it from is Belvederes Lookout. You have an unlimited view of the island and the beautiful surrounding South Pacific. I only had a...More

There are spectacular views from this lookout - you can see both the large bays at the same time. We hired a small car and got up there early in the day - which I recommend. The road up is not the worst that I...More

The Belvedere Lookout on the island of Moorea is a must-do. You can get up there in a rented car, a 4x4 or ATV excursion, or other type of excursion. It's a steep drive, with narrow pavement and switchbacks. The views are magnificent. You can...More

Interesting to see a different view of Moorea. And one of the few inland destinations. Went here as part of a tour.

Amazing, breath taking, beautiful. Negatives the drive up, can be nerve wracking, but so worth it when you get to the top.

Great view of Island and the stunning volcanic peaks. Easily got to by sealed narrow road. You will probably share the view with an entire cruise ship if timed wrong though and the viewing platform is quite small

Great way to see the panorama of the Island, bays and ocean. Fun to take a jeep ride up to the top of the lookout.

While on a leisurely scooter daytrip around Moorea, we took the road up to Belevedere. We got very lucky - it's often cloudy and rainy in the center of the island, but we arrived at a clear time with just a bit of fine mist....More

In my opinion i would say it's to far to walk. In fact it would be a very expensive taxi ride. I would call them and ask about a shuttle.
