Wow! What a view! This is the highest point above sea level on the island that is accessible by car. Offering fantastic views of both Opunohu Bay and Cooks Bay, as well as Mt Rotui, this is a must-visit spot! It looked like a few...More

Easily accessible by car, the belvedere offers great views of the bays of Moorea. There is enough space to park. It's also the starting point of quite a few walking tracks and cycling tracks. There is a good map showing all the options available. We...More

Watch out for the mozzies up here - my wife got bitten over 20 times in about 30 seconds - especially bad toward the shady left hand side of the car park where coconut seller is.

Went up in the mountain with the Lady in Blue. It was a great small adventure for an hour after our beachbrake. Lucky with the weather , no clouds up there that day.

We visited Belvedere lookout on the ATV moorea tours & definitely would recommend them to see this lookout spot. It's up a high mountain & overlooks the 2 bays in Moorea.

Worth a visit while on the island. It's on most organized tours of the island and that's probably the best way to get up there but you can hike it too.

Went here as part of our tour and thought the view was great. There is a small parking lot at the lookout for cars - but watch out for people walking about. You’ll need about 10-15 minutes here!

We hiked this in about 45minutes, it's an easy hike with big payoffs in the end. I believe you also go here on the 4-wheelers and some of the other guided day trips. We took a cab from our hotel and had them come back...More

In my opinion i would say it's to far to walk. In fact it would be a very expensive taxi ride. I would call them and ask about a shuttle.
