I've been in Moorea tropical graden twice and each time I spend a very nice moment, I discovered many fruts that I've never tried and learn a bit more the polynesian culture thank's to the owners. It is a lovely place where you can find the best of polynesian food and drink fresh smoothies in front of a beautiful landscape.... More

We rented a scooter to drive around the island & our first stop was the tropical garden, which is situated on a very steep, narrow road on the top of the hill. We couldn't make it up even a 3rd of the way on the scooter, so we had to leave it behind & hiked up the rest. I would... More

We stopped here on our tour with Franky Frank. Steep, narrow, bumpy ride up. Don't think I'd attempt it in a rental personally. Yummy jams sold here along with assortment of souvenirs and vanilla beans. The garden was small and view was pretty, mouth nothing like Magic Mountain views.

We visited here on the tour with FrankyFrank, it was a lovely place, we did some marmalade tasting and learnt how vanilla is grown. They also made me a drink as I was feeling unwell. Very kind people and a beautiful place to visit.

We have to echo comments by others. We turned off the main road onto an extremely bumpy unpaved road for a few hundred yards. We then started up a steep hill that had two concrete paths. It was barely wide enough for our rental car which struggled to climb the hill. Once on top, the views are great as are... More

Sure, there's a steep driveway, but so what? It's not ridiculously dangerous... just take it slow. Once you're at the top, which is not far at all, you'll have some of the finest views of the bay and ocean and mountains. And... a delicious jam tasting! We bought jam and Monoi oil as well as vanilla beans to bring back... More

After driving up a very steep driveway you are treated to fantastic views of Oponuhu Bay. Beautiful tropical plants, flowers and fruit trees. Bought some delicious icecream (taro flavour is good!). Juices and fruit and jams available. Perhaps a short tour to show you what plants are what may have enhanced this experience but well worth visiting

We went to the tropical gardens with Frankie Frank and learned everything about how vanilla is raised. Then we went upstairs to the juice bar which was a treat. Fresh squeezed juices were perfect on a hot day and the fruit jams were unique and tasty.

We wanted to cover all the attractions listed in Tripadvisor. This really was not worth it. The drive itself was a shocker. From the main road you take this steep 15min climb to the garden and if you rent one of the puny rental cars, it chokes. And god forbid if there is a car coming the other way --... More

After driving up a short Very, Very bumpy road we arrived at the rather small Tropical Garden. Nice variety of tropical plants and a good display of the vanilla plant. Another good view from here. And a nice small gift shop with local items.
