A wonderful place to have a great time with family, friends or business colleagues. We had a great time in a dinner activity organized by the company for which I work for. Live entertainment, good typical food and a beautiful scenario at Pueblo Antiguo.

We visited the park with our teenage children not knowing what to expect. The park isn't huge - there are about 6 decent rollercoasters and water rides along with lots of smaller rides. But it was less than £7 per person to get in. Food was mainly fast and expensive but lots of people were picnicking on their own food. There were vertically no queues meaning that we rode all the best coasters several times. The staff were really friendly and helpful even booking us a taxi and letting us wait in the office until it arrived. There's not a lot to do in San Jose but Parque Diversiones is well worth a visit.

It is small, next to the amusement park so would be a nice complement for the older guys. It is nice to visit and get familiar with how things were used to be in the old times in CR.

This attraction is in the Parque Diversiones. The live shows held throughout the day are entertaining and funny. The food served at the restaurant is very good and the service is very good, also.

Pueblo Antiguo is a recreation of a typical Costa Rican town from the turn of the last century. It is inside the Parque Diversiones. If you tell them at the gate you are only going to Pueblo Antiguo there is no charge. I found it interesting and spent about an hour there. I understand that certain afternoons they have entertainment. It would be a better trip if you could schedule your visit at that time. The most interesting part was an old store from the campesino era stocked with old fashioned things.
