The park has a man made lake which had huge ducks walking on the shore. It was also clean & well maintained. For $2.00 for a half hour you can rent a rowboat at the lake. For the people of San Jose this is a park to relax, walk your dog, play soccer, have picnics, etc. Some people are critical... More

Worth a wander through. The museum is near the entrance. Huge park with big lake in the middle. Great place for some time out and to relax.

Nice park with beautiful trees and some playgrounds (which are a bit outdated, but okay). Good to relax.

Is a comune place, where people come to meet, to run, to make friends, Also is a place where saturday and sunday people come for pick-nick. You can also take a nice tour by a small boat. Nice sportive activities.

We really enjoyed this park, they were hosting a free coffee festival outside the stadium when we went and visited, which was fun and informative. Great walking park, with lakes and waterways, ball parks and soccer fields, kids play areas and places to have a picnic.

The park is actually quiet run down. Some mayor maintenance is urgently needed. But you can get there quiet easily and find relative good parking (car watchermafia lurking around everywhere). The place is ok for sport activities, specially running, walking, swimming or playing soccer with friends. I particularly enjoy walking my dog every Sunday...water fountains are throughout the park...

Sabana Park is a great place to go, located in the middle of a busy city. It allows you to find a piece of nature right at your door.

We weren't spending long in San Jose so we decided to have a walk around to get a feel of the place. We ended up at the national park in San Jose. The park itself used to be the airport in San Jose but this became too small as tourism took off. We had a lovely stroll seeing lots of... More
