I have taken my English class students to this museum. The staff is fantastic, very friendly, kind and helpful. The displays are top!! A bit of a faff to get your tickets. The building is beautiful and the displays are lovingly shown. The information is concise and meaningful, but it's all a bit boring and repetitive.

We did not pre-book and on a mid-Sunday afternoon that was not a problem. Non-flash photography is permitted. The very best pieces are near the end. There are also pieces of pottery and information about daily life. At the very end you see the history of money in the country.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Gold Museum. The pieces are well displayed and described in Spanish and English.
