Johnny met up right off the cruise ship and he gave us a terrific deal for a tour. We spent the day exploring Costa Rica, and we really enjoyed his company. He really knew his stuff and he was funny too!

Johnny was our guide and he made the day good fun and a full day full of interesting facts and figures. We went to the walks through the rain forest where there were bridges to walk over, don’t worry if you can manage this hike he will drop you off at a hotel and pick you up after. We then went on a river cruise and saw lots of bird life and crocodiles. We then went up in the villages and all in all we were with him for five hours. Great value at 30 dollars each, you do pay for the things you do ie the boat trip the hike etc.…

Johnny took my family and I (my wife and seven year old daughter) on a twelve day magical journey through the great country of Costa Rica. We went ziplining through the cloud forest, hiked through the rainforest, hung out on beaches, snorkeled by Tortuga Island, hand fed monkeys at Manuel Antonio, saw countless waterfalls, enjoyed many meals and the ambience of the cities, learned a ton about the country and culture. Johnny was an amazing guide. He made us feel safe and secure. It didn't matter if it was really bad sunburn or needed translation - Johnny always gave 110% to make us feel comfortable. Perfect for a first time traveler to Costa Rica, and for families. We can not thank Johnny enough for the amazing trip and making us feel so welcome in Costa Rica! #PuraVida…

Instead of a ship-sponsored tour we had a private tour with Johnny. He was actually known by the ship personnel and respected for his professionalism. We did a river boat ride to see some crocs, and were scheduled for a tram ride. It was a little windy so we hesitated. No problem, said Johnny, who made the call and cancelled for us without penalty. We asked to see a local town and a non-tourist place for lunch. Johnny took us to his home town (really nice) and to a great restaurant where we feasted on local fish and beer. Johnny lived in the States for 5 years, which made for great conversation. He is an expert, professional and drives a clean, safe van. If I were there longer, Inwould have had him take me all over the country. Call Johnny and you will make the most of your time in Puntarenas!…
