This church has an interesting facade and faces a small park and plaza. Benches provide some respite from sun and heat. The adjacent plaza now features several interesting statues. The peninsula is small and this location is an easy walk.

A quaint old church set in treed grounds and in keeping with the rest of the town. The nearby museum had two rooms with an exhibit of Chinese prints and an exhibit on electricity. Footpaths and roads were paths of rubble and one cannot envisage the overall standard of living ever improving. Very sad really. It was not worth getting off the cruise ship.

Old church that used egg whites to help hold the stones together. Pretty grounds with big trees. There were many students on these grounds enjoying their lunch hour break from the school across the street. Church was closed to general public at the time of our visit.

Very old but not impressive. The church is made from a volcanic rock. It was closed when we arrived so didn't get inside but we didn't feel we missed anything significant.
