Our cruise ship, Carnival Miracle, docked in Puntarenas on Saturday, February 8, 2020. Four of us had prearranged in September a private tour with Ricky Ricardo Tours based on Trip Advisor reviews. Ricky was prompt in responding with us through email and answering questions. On February 8, he met us at the port with Ron Wolf, our guide. The vehicle for the tour was comfortable. Ron was an excellent guide. He was knowledgable about the area and answered our questions. He knew how to provide us with an enjoyable day in Costa Rica and he showed much pride in what the country has to offer. He interacted with the white face capuchin monkeys wonderfully. Review of: The 7 in 1 Tour Puntarenas
We booked Ricky's 7 in 1 tour via email when we knew we were going to stop in Limon on our cruise. Ricky was excellent. He picked us up in a small bus with a group of roughly 15 people. Shortly after the tour began, we were looking at some monkeys when a lady in our group fell and broke her ankle. Ricky applied the proper first aid, shuttled the injured women and her husband back to the ship (driving the bus right onto the pier), and rearranged our tour to continue in the opposite direction as originally planned. Ricky is knowledgeable, answers all questions, and knows how to take care of his patrons. Highly recommend!…

We were on a panama cruise and had booked Ricky’s tour on a recommendation from a friend. He picked us up at the ship and we spent the day with him. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We saw many sights, wildlife etc and had an amazing traditional lunch. We saw a lot in a short period of time and never felt rushed. If we are ever back in Costa Rica we will definitely be in touch with him to provide further tours. …

We did Ricky’s 7 in 1 tour, organised as a Cruise Critic tour, as part of our World Cruise with Princess Cruises, and cannot speak highly enough about Ricky and his company. We had 2 mini buses arranged-one with 10 passengers, and the other with 20 passengers. The whole day was absolutely fantastic, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was far better than what we expected, and a lot of that was down to Ricky and his drivers knowledge, contacts in the area, their personalities, and love of what they do. Having the monkeys scampering all over us, was, to say the least, an interesting experience, while our lunch was great! We can thoroughly recommend Ricky Riccardo Private Tours, and would have no hesitation whatsoever in going on another tour with them, should we ever return to Puntarenas. …
