Most of the park trails are closed right now due to COVID and the price for entry did not change. Upon entering the park you will be hassled by look-a-like park rangers who are just scammers for tours. The park will allow backpacks in but no water or food. We stopped at the beach for a swim after hiking for awhile. Bring a towel, there are showers at the bathrooms and it's theoretically possible to change into dry clothes if you're OK with things being a little rustic. Water was kelp-free and refreshing. Waves can knock you down near the shore if you're not paying attention but not too dangerous. People weren't wearing masks around the bathrooms much and there can be lines at times so keep that in mind.

The monkeys roam the beach by the trees and the oceans is lovely. It was a very beautiful, white sand beach.

Gorgeous beach, great wildlife sightings. Great bonus to the admission of the park. The water was not too choppy or cloudy. Convenient bathrooms and shower stations. Snack shop is close by for a snack either before or after the beach.
