Great tour to see lots of resident animals and learn the facts about wildlife preservation. Guides were very knowledgeable and interactive with the group. Inspiring to get on the save the planet train!

I reached out to KSTR more than three months before our trip to make a reservation. I expected that the tour size would be limited, but I was quite wrong. The number that showed up that day was so large they had to split us in two, and we had 11 in our part of the tour. I'm not sure how many the other group had. The tour is not much more than a very small zoo, with caged animals that can't be returned to the wild due to whatever their individual circumstances. The tour lasted about an hour, which was not at all worth the cost. After, we were offered light refreshments (fresh pineapple, juice and small packages of Oreo cookies). Bottom line, save your money and just go to Manuel Antonio to see the animals there.…
