This chocolate tour was really great. The owner showed us each stage of chocolate production. We were also able to taste the cacao at various stages. The hike was beautiful. He pointed out various birds and animals. We learned about other plants growing on his property. The tour finished with some fresh made chocolate and some hot chocolate to drink.... More

Excellent tour! Really really good. Informative not only about the process, from cacao fruit to finished product, but also about the local fruits and trees was great! One of the most complete tours I've had! Well worth every penny and then some.

This place is amazing. If you are in the area, and have time, this is a must visit. The tour starts at 3PM, Monday - Friday. It is also cash only. Just FYI. You will need good shoes for hiking and exploring as some of the paths are muddy. It is incredibly eye opening to the process of chocolate making,... More

If you are looking for a informative but fun place, this is the right place for you, but you should remember to bring bug replelent and a camara. They teach you how to make chocolate and tips about their history. it is about a 2 hour long tour but it is really worth it. Everyone learned including my kids. I... More

This tour was perfect for adults and kids alike! Although the plantation got a little bit muddy from the rain, all of the delicious samples and the step by step demonstration more than made up for it! We got to see the whole process of making chocolate from beginning to end - it was priceless!

The way they prepare and harvest the chocolate it's really artesanal. Marcus really cares about you having a complete experience, we got to eat different kind of fruit and saw a lot of different animals as a complement during the tour. It is a pretty enjoyable experience.

Although there was some confusion, and I wasn't actually able to do the entire tour as I was the only person, I really enjoyed myself visiting chocorart. I was able to participate fully in making chocolate in the factory, being involved in each fascinating process and given the opportunity to taste the chocolate at lots of stages and to practice... By visiting this cacao farm and seeing firsthand the entire process of how chocolate is made i learned so much that I had no idea of prior to this visit. Give yourself a few hours for this tour because it's extensive, thorough and lots of fun with some great samples to try at the end! You will have an entire... More

We stopped by on our way back from the beach and the guy working told us we had missed the last tour but still gave us a very detailed explanation of how the chocolate was made. We got to try a fresh, raw cacao bean, had some cacao pulp juice and cacao tea as the sun was setting. Wonderful time... More
