But unfortunately we turned back. First, we went by ourselves with a rental car and surprisingly, they don't have the option to walk through the park by ourselves. We didn't like the fact that we were obligated to take a guide to access the park, for 1:30h and at an expensive price of 55$US. Second, we visited 8 parks so... More

When we arrived with our excursion group, we started out by going to the indoor exhibits. They consisted of butterflies, both live and dead. They also had live snakes and frogs in display areas. We ate sandwiches that were nothing exceptional and then went on the short gondola ride through the treetops to the brief hiking areas. They have a... More

Was there on cruise ship and used OREGON TOURS COSTA RICA to book our trip. Best prices and we were able to zip line, cable car ride to waterfall and see all Veragua Park had to offer, then did tour of the Canals and ended with quick stop at the beach. We covered alot but never seemed rushed. The cost was... More

Two of us were lucky enough to get a personal tour through the frog, snake, and hummingbird collections. They were amazing, and our biologist/tour guide was quite knowledgeable

From pick up until drop off, our day was really smooth. Agnes was on time picking us up directly from the port and took us on an interesting tour up to Veragua. She showed us all of the different plant life and animals and took the time to really explain things in detail. The zip lining was totally fun. There... More

This was an eye opening experience that showed us what lives under the Canopy of the Jungle. The guides and staff were very knowledgable and were eager to share what they know. We highly recommend this visit and guarantee you will learn something along the way. Safe Travels.

This excursion was very entertaining and informative. Our guide was very knowledgeable, a true scientist. We appreciated his excellent knowledge of English as well as the care he took to make sure we were all involved in every part of the visit. The luncheon served was delicious and a typical native meal. The bus trip to and from the park... More

Took a tour here off cruise ship. For us, it was slightly rushed because of time limits. But ..... A definite must see. The information centre was informative as were the exhibits of reptiles. Canopy tour cable car ride was worth it, we personally didn't see any wildlife but could hear monkeys. Nice walk at bottom to waterfall and through... More
