I enjoyed this tour. It was only for half a day which suited me fine and included hotel pick-up and drop off. The driver was on time and friendly. The tour itself was light-hearted but informative, where they talked about the process from planting and growing seeds all the way through to the roasting and packaging. I'd recommend this to... We were told it was a 2 hour tour. Turned out to be about 45 minutes. I learned almost nothing and had to endure horrible hispanic slap-stick "comedy". No one was laughing. It's just a giant over-priced trap to get you into their overpriced gift shop.

It is very disappointing to recommend a tour for a group of people visiting Costa Rica for first time and find the place closed. There was no information on the web page they will not be opening today. Look for a different plan. The visitors wasted their money paying for a taxi lo carry them to find a closed placed.

As a tour it is interesting and our hosts try to liven it up with some humour which was tired, clumsy and detracted from the tour. Jokes were telegraphed a long way ahead and one of our audience volunteers was... More

I loved this tour offered through our resort, the Peace Lodge. I learned a lot about how coffee is made and their coffee is really darn delicious.

This was a great activity and fun way to learn about coffee. It is appropriate for kids! We live in San Jose but recommend this for all our guests.

Went on the Coffee Tour spontaneously with a friend today. There was no problem that we didn't make a reservation beforehand, in fact we had the two guides for ourselves! They also gave us the student discount even though we didn't have our student cards with us! I would definitely recommend it for anyone who loves coffee (you get lots... More

This was a fun and enjoyable way to spend half a day in San Jose. We booked our tour through Viator and arranged to be picked up at our hotel. Our driver showed up promptly and took us to the location. While he did not require a confirmation, the girl at the ticket desk at Britt did request a paper... More

Just check the website. It really is fun, but skip the zip line. There are better zip line tours available in the jungle on the coast.
