Truly a book lover's heaven. Beautiful place, great selection of books and incredible prices. All the books I own I've bought them from this store. Love the place, one of the best things about Tamarindo.

For those that need a book to read while on vacation, this is the place! They also have a great selection of travel books and post cards. and instead of discarding your books, Jaime has a book recycling programme.

We had a few hours to kill before our surf lesson and wandered by the Jaime Peligro bookstore. We walked in and started talking to the owner, Jim, about Costa Rica, Tamarindo, and his life story on how he ended up there. He has one...More

Local friends told us about this store during our visit here. Located next to cafe tico they have a large selection of previously read books. The selection is very good considering the small town of Tamarindo. Paperback prices are very good (average $4). You also...More
