Highly recommend this family-owned tour company for so many adventures! We booked first an ATV ride - it was awesome! We explored so far back in the jungle - never knew there were even people living back there......definitely felt as if we were off the beaten path. Then, we did a horseback riding trip - my tween daughter is an excellent rider and they let her have some independence with her horse, while I - a beginner - felt very safe and taken care of. Loved the jungle ride, my daughter preferred the beach. For the heck of it, we took another tour with them that involved mud baths, a short waterfall hike, and zip lining. The zip lining was just ok - I've been on better, but we were the only ones on the tour, so that was nice. The mud baths were super-fun. I always prefer to use a locally-owned tour operator and highly recommend Costa Tour Adventure. Oh - whenever we needed to stop - for water, soda, a snack - they took us to their favorite little places - such a great experience!…

We can not say enough positive comments about Costa Tours. Luis and Raquel are experienced guides who will customize tours, visits to all the amazing beaches, transportation and more to ensure that you have the vacation and experience of a lifetime. They are punctual, thoughtful, full of local knowledge - they are the real deal. We enjoyed ATV rides through the jungles and beaches, zip-lines (Raquel even convinced me to go on my very first one!), waterfalls, beaches, shopping, sunset horseback riding, national forests, volcanoes.... Need we say more? You will not be disappointed by using Costa Tour Adventures for all of your vacation needs!…

Our first trip to Costa Rica was such a wonderful adventure thanks to Luis and Raquel. This is a true entrepreneur and he has staked his family on his business and as a result they do a top notch service. We did a full day volcano tour with Raquel where we zip-lined, rode horses in the rainforest, hiked, visited a waterfall, and got to know Raquel. It was amazing. That was followed by an ATV tour the next day led by Raquel where we rode through rivers and learned about the jungle, saw monkeys, and had a blast riding the ATVs. Then we booked them again for horseback riding on the beach during sunset and it was another wonderful adventure for our family. But that's not all...I was about to run out of gas and the nearest station was miles away. So I stopped in at Cost Tour Adventure and Luis gave me fuel to get to the station! From airport pick-up and drop-off to all the adventures you want, I highly recommend Costa Tour Adventure!…

We came to Costa Rica to visit friends in Ostional. We are a family of 5, 3 teenagers 16-19. Our friends introduced us to Luis and his lovely family with Costa Tour Adventure. We spent 2 mornings with them touring the area by ATV and horseback. Gustavo was our tour guide for the ATV tour, he speaks English and pointed out different animals/insects along the way. We stopped at the waterfall in the pictures and went for a swim, it was a welcome cool down on such a hot morning. We thought the hike down (& up) to the waterfall was going to be too difficult for our special needs daughter but Gustavo was patient and helped us guide her down (& up again). We drove through lots of mud and streams, up and down hills, it was a blast! Raquel was our guide for the horseback tour. She even guided our daughter's horse the whole way. Our SN daughter, loves Shakira's music and was super excited to learn her horse's name was "Shakira"! She had the biggest smile the entire time. We rode for a couple hours and when we returned we were offered cold water or beer and salted green (unripe) mango (try this -- it's delicious!) Luis and his family were very welcoming and we can't wait to go back to visit again.…
