I was surprised by the quality of the gear and organisation of the trip, but that's all good I can say about the dive. GEAR: All new in very good condition, but no fitting (except for the wetsuits) before the dive. I am not used to diving without checking whether the BCD fits and all divers know that its important... Now here is why I gave this pace a low rating. We have been on quite a few different snorkel boat tours all over the world and if you look at my other reviews - you'll see I have very few that are a 1 or 2 * (like less that 5%). So this really is a dive boat that... More

Though I am not a certified scuba diver, I had been once before and wanted to go again during my trip to Costa Rica. I was picked up at my hotel and driven to the center where I was fitted with a dive suit, snorkel and fins. Myself and one other person (expired certification) were taken to a hotel pool... More

I was initially concerned about how many people were on the big dive boat, as we often seek out smaller groups to go with, being experienced divers. However, they split everyone up into appropriate, smaller groups to visit different dive/snorkel spots, and the dive guides were experienced and professional. I would definitely dive with them again.

The best boat and the best guides make for consistently enjoyable diving. Pacific Coast is operated by a truly professional staff that loves to dive. Despite limited viability, we saw huge mantas and beautiful reef fish. Simply the best....

We have been diving all over the world for the past 40 years and this operation is first class. Safety was number one, the staff made it effortless. All we had to do was jump in and enjoy the dive. We had a spectacular day with massive Manta Rays circling above, swarms of thousands of fish and even sharks. The... More

There are a few things that make a good diving experience...the main two in my opinion is good diving, but also great staff and divers experiencing it with you. The diving in Costa Rica isn't the greatest diving in the world, and I don't think it professes to be, but it is nice and there is plenty of marine life... More

This was a well organized fun thing to do. Pacific coast is very professional, has top notch equipment. They are organized and the process goes efficiently. One person became very sick and one of the guides never left her and took excellent care of her. Safety was priority.

The crew was professional, equipment is new and the boat was in a great shape. But... there was no fish to spot! Not a chance with such a murky water and currents. There is a higher chance to spot something in your bathtub than in this water. That said, divers on our tour were more satisfied as they saw at... More

Thanks so much for taking the time to write us a review. We are extremely pleased to hear that the crew were professional and that you were satisfied with the boat and the equipment, these are things that we have control of. Sadly we do not have any control on the water conditions on any given day of the year.... More

Did two dives with this dive shop and it did not turn out as advertised. We were told that the 16 divers would be split into separate groups and the divers who had more air would stay down longer. We all dove together so I was kicked a few times and then we all came up together. I had 1200... More

Thankyou for letting us know about your experience at our dive center. We are sorry that you were not pleased with the service. We try and keep the guide:diver ratio to manageable numbers, 5 divers per guide. We have never taken a group of 16 divers together as far as i am aware. We do sometimes take 8 or so... More
