I loved Tapanti Park. The walks are great but very challenging. Especially if it's raining. Not much wildlife about but still very beautiful. Worth a visit Cost 12000 Colones for two of us

Hiked the middle trail, but saw very little in the way of wildlife. A few birds, and then on the way driving out, saw a Coati. If you're not a local, it's $10 per person. $20 bucks for my wife and I, both seniors. Pretty...More

The experience begins before you arrive to the Park as the Orosi Valley is a beauty in itself. The Park offers trails and access to the river which is very nice for those looking for a connection with nature. VERY RECOMMENDED.

It's a great place for a different activity. You can share with nature, do hiking. The place clearly indicates where you can walk safetly

Great spot for hiking with our children, two and four years old. Only disappointment was that we thought the waterfall trail would lead to the bottom of the waterfall and we never got anywhere near it. Only tried the Catarata and Pava trails because the...More

We had a sunny day and no mud on the trails. River trail is not very difficult, but a lot of stairs and climbing back to the road. Orosi river is pristine with differently shaped rocks and nice cool water. Waterfall view is nice and...More

There are about three trails and we only did a short 45 min loop hike to riverbed. You could get a good workout walking between the three trail heads which are spread out along the park road. I'm not sure the park is geared... More
