Our experience with Ecoterra was great our entire trip to Costa Rica. We did a 6 night 5 day trip, but opted for one extra day in Tamarindo and were so glad we booked through Ecoterra. Everything went so smoothly from the moment we got there. We really enjoyed the ziplining tour which we were lucky enough to do on... More

My boyfriend and I purchased a Groupon travel deal that was largely orchestrated through Ecoterra and had a great experience! Jorge Vasquez was our driver for much of the trip to and from La Fortuna, and he was a great guide. He was happy to stop several times as we checked out bakery stands and restaurants along the way. He... More

We did this today with our 7 year old. You learn a lot about the use of local plants and trees. Our daughter did well with it but eventually she started to lose it. Lucky for us that's when we got to see a poisonous frog and a howler monkey. Then we came out of the jungle and had a... More

We booked a Night Walk with dinner through our hotel. We were picked up in a nice van and introduced to Beto, our driver and Gabriel, our guide. We were driven about half an hour to a private home with gardens where our walk was to take place. Beto drove very well and Gabriel gave us lots of information about... More

We just finished a delightful tour. Gabriel was our guide and Otto was our host. Gabriel was most helpful and informative. Otto & Marie own the property. Otto is an incredible landscape artist. There are water features everywhere. And this paradise has attracted an abundance of wild life. The "show" begins when the sun sets and the frogs start to... More

Went here with our group while staying in the Cocoa Beach area. Great time was had by all. The Zip Line adventure was a lot of fun and the Superman 1 mile line was very exciting. The wildlife experience was very interesting. Many of the exhibits were still being completed, but seeing Lucy the sloth was the highlight for many.... More

My husband and I had the opportunity to use EcoTerra through a Groupon we bought to go to Costa Rica. They organized the transportation, guides and the outings we did, such as the Arenal Zip Lines, hikes around Arenal Volcano and a Nocturnal Hike. Everything was done professionally and on time. The guides were very knowledgeable and the service was... More

We found out about Ecoterra when we booked one of their vacation packages on Groupon. From that point on, we emailed with them directly to confirm all of the details. The employees are very friendly (and not in a phony way) and helpful, especially Yessinia and Jordy. There were no communication issues which was great considering I don't speak any... More

Provide tours from our hotel Casa Luna. Unfortunately my husband ended up being ill (we reckon from somewhere in Cahita before we arrived here). Therefore I took a few trips by myself. I was throughly impressed by the quality of guides and experiences from Ecoterra tours. Expensive but I believe it was worth it. Firstly I did the birdwatching tour... More
