Hi Sheryl, I recommend you to fly in the route back to La Fortuna, when the tour to Tortuguero starts you will experiment the same boat ride.

I agree with the previous answer - I was there in January and wire light, long rain pants that could be unzipped. You need long pants for zip lining. But I also wear them because I am highly allergic to big bites so it’s up... More
