It was such an incredible experience to do a night walk here! Our guide (Jiro) was so knowledgeable about the history of the reserve/costa rica as well as the species that are there. It was obvious that it was something he was passionate about and that made it even more interesting for us! We saw tons of cool frogs, bugs, some cool costa rican mammals, birds, and more. I would highly recommend giving this place a go anytime you're in la fortuna!

We went to see the private sanctuary and saw many types of amphibians and reptiles. We also caught a toucan sleeping and stumbled upon not one but two male three toed sloths. A great trip for those interested in conservation and habitat ecology.

We had such a wonderful time on this guided night hike. Our guide was Jairo Villalobos and he was amazing. Very knowledgeable and passionate about the animals and preserving their habitat. We saw numerous different species of frogs, bats, toucans, sloths, snails, anoles, and more! It was such a wonderful, fun experience. It was one of the most memorable parts of our trip and we can not recommend it enough!

The place is very very close to the Fortuna Downtown and the road is accessible for all type of cars. When you arrive the first thing you see are the sloths. In all paths you can see a lot of different types of diversity like birds, frogs, mammals and plants. I really recommend the tour and will repeated again. The guy that give us the tour know a lot of every specie you'll see in the trajectory so you even going to learn new important things about it.

Beautiful and very well taken care of. It’s a walk able distance from downtown Fortuna. We saw several species: Small Mammal called a Guatusa, Tucan and other birds, several types of frog and toads and butterflies. Guide Jorge was very professional, friendly and helpful. Totally recommended and I’m very sure to go next time I’m around Fortuna
