Nothing beats the convenience of getting all the history of the development of Shanghai as a metropolis than Shanghai's Urban Planning Exhibition Center. Start from floor 1 with the early days and make your way up to the biggest model of today's Shanghai.

This is a massive city. It is a good idea to start your visit to Shanghai at the Museum. Lots of information about history and future, from geology to transportation, interactive and cool 360 degree movie. Highly recommended. Closed Mondays.

Really enjoyed seeing this representation of Shanghai. Worthwhile visit. Had not been there previously but found it really interesting and would recommend including it. Also liked the gift shop.

The name of this attraction does not do it justice and is misleading. Our tour guide advised that this exhibition is best viewed after a full day tour of Shanghai. I absolutely agree. The exhibit makes more sense after you've toured and experienced the different...More
