The riverside walk along the Bund may be busy and crowded during the day, but with good reason - it's simply a must when in Shanghai for people-watching and getting a good feel for the city.

We walked the entire Bund and loved the broad esplanade ad the views across the water from all the beautiful lit buildings. We also took the most incredible night boat cruise to see the lights. It is an awesome sight that should not be missed....More

I love Shanghai in misty mystical nights, especially quieter strolls along the Bund. I don't quite care for the hustle and bustle of the crowds during the day...

This is where everyone who visits Shanghai goes at least once! I highly recommend going, taking a portrait of yourself!

Its worth wandering down the Bund during the day and at night. During the day you can check out the buildings and the weddings. At night the view of the skyscrapers is great.

The two things are completely different. The promenade is a nice place for a stroll or walk. Just have a nice time taking in the sights and enjoying the view.
